Aura Energy
Aura Energy is an Australian based uranium company focused
on two wholly owned projects. The Häggån Project is hosted in
Sweden's Alum Shale Province, which has been historically known as
one of the largest depositories of uranium in the world. Uranium
has been mined and extracted from the Shales since the 1960s
and the mineralisation also contains significant amounts of
molybdenum, vanadium, nickel and zinc. Additionally landownings in
Maurtiania provide the Company with access to the highly
prospective Reguibat Province in Mauritania, which is shaping up as
a major emerging uranium province.
Aura has now released results from a Scoping Study on the Häggån
Project. The study confirms the economic viability of the project
as a bioheap leach project and indicates a very promising valuation
for the Company, particularly in light of the increasing demand
fundamentals accociated with uranium.
